For the past five years, or so, i have been privileged to attend our state wide Ladies Ministry conference.

Now, I know what you're thinking...
> ...Dave...you're not a lady....

And you're right. I'm not....

But I don't attend as a recipient of the ministry of the conference. I attend as a worker to serve the ladies of the state of Illinois.

You see, along with all my experience in creative work with graphics and photography, I also have a significant passion for video production. Particularly in live stream, and live video capture.

That said, for the past half decade i have offered my talents to the ladies ministry of Illinois and attended this incredible exclusive event to simply capture video and produce it for their rewatching pleasure.

It is amazing, this event.

If you don't know this about me, I am a very faith forward person.

Look at my portfolio and you will notice quickly that i have a large sector of work that is exclusively churches, and other faith based organizations.

So, as you can imagine, I get significant satisfaction out of serving the christian community wherever I can.

This is no exception to that.

I take my gear, set it up, and record for two days. Then tear it down, stow it and wait for the next year to do it all over again.

I have included a photograph of my set up from this year.


And, before you say anything, no it isn't the most professional set up.

But its what i have, and I'm happy to give it.

Someday i hope to be able to do some paid work and reinvest my earnings to better build my gear box out and have a more professional system over all. But for now, ill just satisfy myself with the knowledge that I'm giving my talent to the Kingdom of God, and that it is going to bless the wonderful ladies of Illinois.
